[Source] Mine cut diamond

I’m hoping that someone out there in Orchidland can help me with
this request: I have a very good customer who lost one diamond
earring, and needs to find a match. It is a 5.5mm round mine cut
(European cut would be OK) that is fairly shallow, weighing less
than.50ct., SI2, H-I color.

Everything I have found so far is a lot heavier, so it is also a lot
more expensive. This is an insurance replacement, and the insurance
company will only pay for a stone that is close in weight as well as
in clarity and color.

Does anyone have one of these hanging around the shop, waiting for a
home? Or does anyone know of someone who could supply a stone like
this?

Thanks, and a Happy Holiday to all of us Burned-out Bench Jewelers!

We usually use Michael Goldstein for older cuts (if we don’t have
them in break-out goods). Here’s his info:
