I use natural gas at residential pressure and compressed oxygen. My
favorite tips are numbered NG3, NG5 and NG7. They are unlike other
meco tips in that they have a normal central opening, surrounded by
a secondary rosebud type of opening. They give me a larger, hotter
flame than I can get from the normal natural gas tips. I bought
these from a shop that sold to glass blowers, along with the low
pressure meco gauge that allows me to set oxygen pressure at exactly
8 pounds. When contacting meco dealers, they tell me that these are
no longer available.
Does anybody out there know where I can get replacements? Please!
