Check the rockhound sites. At those prices about all you are
going to find are some Amethsyt, Smokey and clear Quartz, you
might find some heat treated Amethyst. Check with the listings in
the back of LJ and Rock and Gem you might find someone who has it
there. I doubt that you will find an American supplier. Ed Ward

I don’t have anything like this at present, but I see fairly
large smokey quartz, light lemon citrine or optical quartz like
this in the price range you indicate at shows. You might also
find white topaz like this.

I think your only real chance of finding stones that size at
that price is with synthetics from foreign sources.

I know that Ahmed carries a lot of cubic zirconia. I have found
his products and service to be quite good for the money.
