[Source] hollow-core diamond drill bits

Can anyone recommend a source for purchasing hollow-core diamond
drill bits with shafts that will fit the flex-shaft. At a good
price…

I’ve bought them through Rio for outrageous cost; have pursued
advertisements by other suppliers, only to find their prics are
good, but the shafts too large.

will appreciate any suggestions. Tracy Munn munnt@bc.edu

Try Kirk Brock of Rock Solid Jade.
PO Box 10286
Albuquerque, NM 87184
505-890-1587

Kirk has been overseas and I’m not sure if he’s back yet. He’ll
also be in Tucson at the 4 Points Hotel, if you make it to the
show.

Tracey, The stained glass industry has several different types
and sizes. One of the main manufactures is MIKA International.
Their phone #1-800-526-2030. I don’t know if they have a web
site. But a search of stained glass sites asking for diamond
bits should get you several hits. My wholesale glass, etc.
source is Sunshine Glassworks, Buffalo, NY 1-800-828-7159, they
can help you too. Happy Grinding, Leslie

You can try a dental supply house. There were some techniques
used in dentistry which included hollow core or trephining burs
and they are undoubtedly still around. JZ Dule

Hello,

Here are two places to get diamond core drills:

Lapcraft Inc.

Phone 614-764-9883

I don’t know if they have a website and I haven’t dealt with
them lately, but the core drill they sent me is just fine. Also
