[Source] Hair barrette clip

Hi Everyone,

I have long hair and am really tired of the plain, plastic barettes
I find at the stores and want to make my own. You know nice, with a
bit of silver and who knows a few stones.

Thus I’m looking for good quality 80mm barrette (D clips I think they
are called). Jo-Ann Etc here in Phoenix, AZ doesn’t have them that
large and Rio carries them but they seem a bit flimsy.

The ones I have seen (and own) that I like all say "Made in France"
rather than the “Made in China” moniker I see in most places.

So, does anyone have an idea where I can get "Made in France"
barrette clips suitable for making my own barrettes?

Thanks bunches,
Heather.

I am very happy with the barrette backs I purchased from Rings &
Things. They come in three sizes, are made in France, and are of
very high quality. I have only purchased and used the largest size
which is 4".

I have no affiliation with the company.

Try Rings-N-Things http://www.rings-things.com/ Type “barrette” in
their search window. They have several barrettes made in France, and
a few made in the USA, along with the ones made in Taiwan and China.
