Slightly off topic request for help:
I have had no luck locating a source of genuine tortoise shell
veneer. We have a client who specifically wants to cover a small box
with it.
I believe that not all types of tortoise shell are illegal to trade
in; I know that some (tortoise) is “farmed”, at least for the meat.
Was unable to locate any company on the Web offering it for sale.
Anyone have a source they would not mind sharing?
