Source for etching supplies

#1

I’ve recently found a source for larger quantities of Ferric
Chloride than Radio Shack sells. They sell it by the pint, quart
and gallon, while Radio Shack only sells by the pint.

Graphic Chemical and Ink Company
728 N. Yale Ave. PO Box 7027
Villa Park, IL 60181 USA
(630) 832-6004

They sell:

Ferric Chloride by the gallon Nitric Acid, full strength or half
strength (hazerdous shipping applies; full strength Nitric Acid must
be sent by truck)

Asphaltum Lazertran Transfer Paper Sheets of Copper, steel and zinc
plus lots of things of interest to the print maker: inks, paper,
engraving tools, etc.

If you’re in the area, they let you pick up your order to save
hazerdous shipping costs.

Usual disclaimer.

As a printmaker, I have been using Graphic Chemical and Ink for over
20 years, and can highly recommend both their products and service.
I have never been less that fully pleased with anything I have
ordered. They have a whole range of products, including inks and
papers and presses (don’t know if they have hydraulic presses or
not).
