[Source] Foilback stones

Hi all,

I am repairing a bishop’s pendant (!!!) and need to replace some
singlecut foilbacked stones. I need 2 to 2.3mm clear, and 3mm and 4mm
January stones, 5 of each. Does anyone have a source for these?

Julia,

do you need stones with faceted backs (pavilions) OR will flat back
foilbacks do the job? Berger Specialties in Los Angeles has the flat
back ones, for sure, and I don’t know if they have the faceted back
ones.

Hi Folks,

Try calling Wolf Myrows or Waligas in Providence R.I. Waligas is on
Atwood Ave. They have all kinds of foil backs. Just let them know
what you are looking for.

Casker Watch Material & Findings in Cincinnati has a nice assortment
of sizes white/clear facetedback foilbacks- all rounds, no fancy
shapes. They come in an aprox 7x3" box with hinged lid with snap
closure. All sizes are organized in vials, numbered for easy reorder
in 3 dz per size refills. Very handy package. I have been using this
assortment for about 15 years for repairs on costume jewelry and
never been dissatisfied. Also, Stuller and Rio Grande both carry
white and colors , round and fancy shapes in facet back foilbacks.
