[Source] Chrysocolla Drusy Pair

#1

Hi All,

I’m looking for a pair of chrysocolla drusy stones. The shape needs
to be a trillion, triangle or possibly fan. The size should be in
the 13-15 mm range. This is for a pair of earrings commissioned by a
customer. Can anyone help?

I don’t know if they have email or website, but Angela Fowler is a
kick a wire wrapper and her partner Ron is a stone cutter out of this
world. They will be at the Houston (local club) Gem and Mineral Show
in Humber above Houston on Sept 23-25 I don’t have their contact info
but the club might. Ron cuts a lot of druzy

Hi Beth-

Have you tried Donald K. Olsen he goes to the gemshow which is right
around the corner. And then there is Vistagems which sometime
surprises me but the usually have really nice carve agates there.

And then I met a great guy at SNAG he had these neat blinking rings
that everyone wanted even the cops that were doing security. When I
got to his booth he had drusys in a lot of shapes and he does a of
the cutting himself. His name is Bill Gangi.

And there was on other person. He is up north a bit (I am also in
Chicagoland (BTW). He has a gem sale a couple of times a year at Lill
Street Art Center but I can’t remember the info right off hand. I
could go looking through my receipts.

Worst comes to worst, I am currently rehabbing and restructuring the
jewelry, lapidary and glass studio at the Lincoln Park Art Center
and if you can find a nice piece of rough you could come on in and
cut them yourself!

Good lick with the search.-Tiffany

You might try Diane Sadel at www.sweetgemstones.com for custom cut
Chrysacolla druzy pairs if she doesn’t have what you need in her
inventory.

I’ve bought drusy stones from Dikra Gems and they were very nice and
reasonably priced- dikragems.com is the website I think.

Take care,

I’ve purchased a number of druzy cabs from Ron and his pieces are
outstanding!! Lots of unusual stones, shapes and colors. You can’t
go wrong.
