I am looking for a source of 5/8" thick slabs of blue or green
carving wax.
They need to be at least 2 1/4" X 3" or larger.
The only sources I have are for assortments of varying
thicknesses.
Does anyone know of a supplier for blue or green carving wax
slabs?
Thanks.

I think the ferris wax is available that way, or you could cut
the large blocks with a band saw.

I bought a band saw just for that reason. I buy block wax and
slice into what ever widths and if more then I rig up a bur with
a flat edge and run the slab through a drill press at a certian
thickness and works just fine. Hope this helps. Ron

for those of you who cannot afford a band saw try a veneer saw.
available at any hardware store for 10/15 dollars. works great
for cutting slabs of wax. doesn’t clog up and doesn’t bind.
works great for plex as well. frank
