Dear Orchid friends,
I wonder if you could help me. I’m after a few loose, round blue
synthetic opal cabochons, to make some jewellery for a customer. I
am after a few stones each in sizes 2mm, 3mm, 4mm and 5mm. I’m after
mid (cornflower) blue with green flash, which seems to be number 06
on all the synthetic opal colour charts.
However, I am struggling to find a supplier of such synthetic opals.
The only ones I can find come from China, with a minimum order of
100 pieces per size. Can anyone tell me of another supplier, who
would be able to sell me fewer stones of different sizes?
