Sorcha O'Horain - Jewelry Gallery

Waterford, Ireland

I am a jewellery designer/maker from County Waterford, Ireland. Having finished my traditional goldsmith training with the Crafts Council of Ireland, i set up my own business creating one-off pieces for clients and exhibitions. I like to make complexly-constructed pieces with clean, un-fussy design. I enjoy exploring repetition and symmetry in my work and like to show off the true beauty of the metal and not distract from it. Despite the rigid nature of some of my work, i am most-inspired my organic forms in nature but those which display symmetry and precision. I am a work in progress as a craftsperson and always will be!
