I have also been researching soldering titanium to gold and sterling
without the use of a laser welder. My local welding supply distributor
compiled info for me which came from the aircraft industry where much
titanium is used. It seems it can be soldered to stainless steel using
a argon gas/vacuum box and a silver/lithium/copper solder. Two
questions I am now searching for answers for aRe: How to build an
argon/vacuum box, and where to find such solder.
