Soldering stainless steel chain to sterling findings (e.g., jump ring)

Hi, just joined! I am using stainless steel, 1mm snake-style chain for stringing larger Miyuki beads and want to solder the chain to sterling silver components, such as jump rings. I’ve done a test and joined the two, but I’m concerned about it holding, as I’ve researched some (aka googled) and there seems to be some concern about longevity of the join holding. Any experience or guidance that can be shared?
