Soldering on copper

#1

Silver solder can be hidden on a copper piece by copper plating.
Simply place the piece in blue, copper saturated pickle with a piece
of iron or any ferrous metal. This creates a charge which will copper
plate all items in the pickle at that time. Remove the iron and the
solution is still usable for silver and gold pieces.

Thank you Amy I forgot that trick with the iron for transfering a
copper color over silver solder, could have used this last week - made
a copper bracelet small round copper wire rings inside a larger circle
soldered - I used a red heat patina, then burnished with Stainless
shot in the tumbler - it worked Aileen
