I would love to hear any hints before solder silver 1.4mm chain to another surface. I am considering a shallow drilled hole first as I want it in the exact center of a ½ disc
shape. Any thoughts?

i am thinking…i would flow some solder onto the end of the chain first…? (and apply a stop- flow such as yellow ochre on a portion of the chain after the first link)
and then heat the disc, and let the disc heat the chain/ solder…?
