Small kiln and melting furnace on same circuit

I’ve been doing lost wax casting with a small table top kiln for a single flask. I use a little smith torch with rose bud tip to melt either silver or bronze.

I was thinking of adding a melting furnace to my equipment since my rose bud tip is having trouble melting anything around 250g.

I have my whole setup in a corner of my apartment so I was curious if a melting furnace could even run on the same circuit as the kiln?

Look at the wattage. 1500 is likely your limit on one circuit unless is is a 20 amp circuit.

Ha yup they both can’t be on a standard circuit.

Looks like I have to find a bigger torch :stuck_out_tongue:
