Sizing down stainless steel ring

Hey, Orchid,

Is it possible to size (down) a stainless steel ring? Customer has a
TeNo ring set with a sapphire. I told her I’d see what I could find
out.

Thanks,

Could be lasered? Don’t quite know.

Last resort: You could rivet a plate inside the ring to take up some
space…have done this when nothing else works. Try to add the rivets
in an aesthetically pleasing location.

Yes, absolutely. I’ve actually repaired a customer’s broken car key
with our laser and stainless steel wire.

I almost replie to this before, but I looked around the TeNo site and
couldn’t find the answer. We deal with another company that does
titanium and silicon carbide, and the have a sizing/exchange program.
You get one sizing free, though what they do is exchange the ring, and
after that it’s a nominal charge, like $35 or something. You might
see if TeNo has anything like it.
