My wife asked me to refinish four of her silver serving spoons to give to our daughters-in-law and grand daughters for Christmas. One of the spoons has an odd edge. At first I just thought it was wear, but it is too regular. Please take a look at the picture and let me know if anyone can tell me the purpose of this edge. Thanks…Rob
