Silver plating

   supereasy solder-I don't like the yellowish cast; it's not all
that visible, but this is a very detailed piece that invites the
eyes up close, and to me this spoils things.  What about silver
plating?

Plating perfect for covering up easy solder. Very handy to hide
firestain though won’t win you any points with traditional
silversmiths! The finish should be identical to the original finish,
although slightly whiter than 925 silver. Also tarnishes slower than
925.

Thanks, Laura. What about oxydizing after–I presume I’ll still be
able to get a good deep black?–Andy
