Sierra PID Temperature Controller Manual?

I have an old burnout kiln with a Sierra PID temperature controller. Does anyone know where I might find a manual for the Sierra PID, please?

I did some digging on the internet and couldn’t find much to help you. Sorry about that!

Most jewelry tool companies like Rio Grande, Otto Frei, etc. have a technical support team. You could try reaching out to them and seeing if they can help you. They probably sold that kiln back in the day.

Do you have a specific question that you’re trying to sort out. Like maybe how to program it? Sometimes you’re lucky and your kiln might program like similar kilns. If your case, your kiln is a three button kiln. You might find that your old Sierra kiln will program like a 3 button Paragon kiln.

I used to own a 3 button Paragon glass bead annealing kiln. I was surprised how similar it was to my 12 button Paragon burnout kiln once I figured it out how to program it. All the segments had the same parts, but the process to get there was different using 3 buttons instead of 12.

I have an Auber PID controller that I retrofitted to my old kiln after I rebuilt it. I am still trying to intepret the manual, but I have figured out how to use it to enamel and heat treat silver. Now if I can figure out how to stop it from beeping all the time. Good luck with your controller.
