I just use a plastic strainer/bowl combo, from the dollar store.
Dump all the contents of the tumbler in, rinse well. I can pick out
my jewelry from the strainer while it sits in the bowl, and make
slightly less of a mess. 
This good if you want to let the media
dry out between uses, as well.
Also, I can put the stuff from the pickle pot right into it, and
carry it all to the sink for rinsing with out dripping all over the
floor.
