looks like you’re outnumbered, Marc! But no apologies
necessary using glue is NOT an excuse for setting bezels improperly.
i take great pride (and joy) in stonesetting, and i hate to see
poorly set, or badly constructed, bezels. i see the use of the
PROPER glue as an extra step to insure the security of the stone. it
is not a shortcut. and there are many, many times when glue would be
an affront to goldsmithing!
