Does anyone have any tips they can share about the process of setting abalone shell in silver?
I’ve done this on braclets by sweat-soldering onto the surface a
small flat square piece that I had cut out with the pattern of the
shell I wanted to use. After soldering, the shell can be glued into
the cut-out design. It becomes a sort of large bezel, since it is
raised up from the surface of the bracelet.
