Selling quality jewelry to jewelers

hello,

This sounds like a still wet behind the ears kind of question & a
very broad one, but after you have cast a few gold rings (from
purchased wax patterns), setted the stones, polished, ending with a
quality piece, how easy is it generally to sell your work to jewelers
(uk) for a small? profit per piece?

Jewelery stores are more likely buyers than jewelers…If someone came
to me with gold rings I’d ask for a price based on the gold (and
possibly the stone),not the workmanship…as i tend to melt it all
down if i don’t design it!
