Hello,

Does anyone know of any groups, clubs or associations in the
Seattle, Washington area that meets for educational purposes
and sharing of ideas? I am new to the art so I fear my
contribution would be only that of taking up space, but would
like to have the opportunity to learn more.

Seattle metals Guild c/o Julie Gauthier 15130 286th Ave NE
Duvall,Wa 98109…Membership is $30.00…They send out a great
newsletter and sponser lots of great workshops Jana Cooper

COLLEEN, we have one of the stongest metals guilds and
communities in the US right here in Seattle. All are welcome.

I’m not near my files at the moment, but I’ll post the contact
number for the Seattle Metals Guild if someone … Peter…
doesn’t beat me to it. Call me, if you like, I’m in the Seattle

there’s a jewelery symposium the 7,8,9,10 at Pratt Fine Art
Center, a meeting of the Seattle metals guild and more(they are
extrememly active-lots of workshops etc). Pratt’s number is
206-328-2200, Annat is the Jewlery technician and contact for
further info. I’m one of a number giving a lecture on Saturday.
