When Platinum Guild International USA opened five years ago, the annual
consumption of Platinum for jewelry purposes in the United States was
about 20,000 oz.
In 1997 over 140,000 oz have been made into jewelery. As you can see
that is a spectacular rise in consumption. We would like to thank the
consumer, the retailer, the designer, the manufacturer and the bench
jeweler for making this possible. Today Platinum is everywhere, and I
hope that you too will enjoy a platinum future and a happy and
successfull 1998.
