I am looking to purchase a computerized engraver. I am currently
looking at the U-Marc Gem RX5 from Rio Grande ($8,395) and the Best
Built from Stuller ($5500). I need to be able to engrave rings,
bangles, necklaces and any other type of jewelry. Most of my jewelry
is very delicate and thin (ie 1.4 mm shanks) and I need to be able to
engrave my logo and a metal stamp into a shank like this. Does anyone
have any experience with either of these machines and would you
recommend one over the other? Are they hard to use? Are you able to
load your logo into the machine and does it accurately engrave into
your piece?
