Seamed Vs. unseamed snake chain?

What is the difference between seamed and unseamed snake chain? I
can see that seamed snakes are less expensive, and want to know if
there is a good reason not to use them in my production line.

Thanks,
Frances

Hello Frances,

A seamed snake chain is actually two different kinds of chains that
are seamed together to give the look of a snake chain. They are less
flexible and do have two seams running down the sides of the chain
where they were put together.

Regular snake chain are little discs stamped out and pushed together
to give a more flexible chain without a seam.

Hope this answers your question.
