has anyone seen Scott Kays 19k yellow gold? any thoughts on it?
does anyone have any clue of a possible alloy combination that
would make this?
Its just a gimmick.
Gimmick or not, there is a formula you can use. The carat you want
divided by 24, 19 divided by 24=.7916666. So if you were casting 10
grams, 10 times.79, I would use .8 fine gold and.2 or 2 grams of an
alloy used to make either 18kt or 22kt gold depending on the color
you want. Theoretically, 22kt alloy should give you a deeper yellow
