Sarin machines use a camera to photograph multiplebacklit
profiles or a stone sitting on a controlled turntable… the known
base diameter and height give a relative calibration in mm/pixel
thereby allowing optical measuring… algorithms calculate
angles…neat system…original version somewhat pricey…20K+
newer versions cheaper…
