Sanding in the "Vee"

Printers and Offset Pressmen use a Scotch stone and also a hone
they call a “Snake Slip” for erasing the photo image off the
Aluminum Plates. The Snake slip is very similiar to a mizzy
wheel, except for shape, it’s about 5" long and 1/4" round. You
can bend it, cut it, round it in a pencil sharpener or cut it
into a “Vee” shape to get into those hard to reach places. It
erases without creating a gouge in the metal and will actually
polish the metal. Kind of like using a metal eraser! They should
be readily available from a print shop and/or a printing supply
house. anyhooo, Gudluk!
