Quite a while ago Doug Zaruba gave the name and phone number of a
dealer in NYC specializing in Russian melee. Well, I finally called
and ordered, and want to second Doug’s opinion. Benjamin (Joseph A.
Diamonds - 800-832-1922) was great to work with, and the diamonds
are even nicer in make than what my normal dealer sends me in the
same color and clarity- for the same price or less.
Also, there was a thread a month or so ago about solder snips, and
someone recommended Fiskar’s grey handled spring loaded scissors at
the fabric store for $9.95. Well, I was a little skeptical, but just
got 'em, and except for the tip, they cut really well and are much
easier and more fun to use than the traditional long handled
jeweler’s snips.
So, thank you Doug and everyone else for “sharing the wealth”…
