though I am not one for shameless self promotion this is an award I
have received and thought I would pass it on for all of you to have
as good a chuckle as I have had wih it :
My business, Vieux Carre Jewelers, in New Orleans is According to
the National Jewelers Association “One of an elite group of only 27
nationwide that have earned this distinction based on benchmarking…
and surveys”. they are planning a luncheon in early 2010 at the JA
show in New York for the winners…and they "will be in contact soon
to [tell us] what other “benefits” we are going to receive as a
result of this distinction… Other categories were Coture, and
Emerging Retailers…
