Rich brown patina on copper

I am making some mixed metal (copper & silver) pieces and want a
rich, brown patina on the copper - more of an aged, antiqued look. I
have read about Baldwin’s patina and also about a recipe using ferric
nitrate. I don’t want a blackish brown and I don’t want to patina the
silver, although I could remove the silver patina if I have to.

Also, does anyone in the Los Angeles area know where to purchase
chemicals like ferric nitrate?

Thanks for your help

Sculpt Neveau in the Escondido area will have what ever you need.
