Hello Orchidians!
High silver content white gold alloys are more common than
ever-Nickel sensitivity and all that is effecting the market. Of
course many of these still need rhodium plating. Silver of course
ruins Rhodium solution. At what percentage would the silver in the
white alloy be a factor in ruining the solution or the plated
surface? Or must everyone using a silver/nickel white gold nickel
plate before rhodium?
