Rhodium plating in Bay Area?

Hi all, This is a two-part question- I have a customer who has a
white gold ring she’s reacting to (allergic, it seems) and I
mentioned having the ring rhodium plated- is there any danger doing
that with diamonds in place on the ring, and does anyone have a
recommendation for someone in the San Francisco Bay Area who does

Hello Julia: Rhodium can be plated to a ring containing gem stones
without problems. Pearls and electrically conductive stones should be
