Rey Master Cast Model 5084

I have recently acquired a Rey Master Cast Model 5084 (120 volt)
vacuum casting machine. There are no instructions with it. I am
hesitant to use it without first learning more about the machine, and
being sure that all the parts are there. Is there anyone who has this
machine? And, would you be willing to send me a copy of the
instruction book. I’d be happy to reimburse for copying/postage.

I have a copy of the instructions for this unit. Please email your
snail mail address or fax number and I will be happy to send them to
you.

Your Rey Master Cast is a very simple machine. It appears you have
found a source for instructions on it–that’s great!

We have some helpful hints about your machine and are happy to pass
them on–open the valve to the side of the machine you are not
using–then turn on the vacuum pump–then move the valve to the side
you are using. When finished, slowly vent the vacuum (let air in) by
moving the valve to the side of the machine you are not using.

Do not turn off (or allow the power to be shut off) with vacuum in
the chamber. It is important to the maintenance of your machine to
change the oil regularly.

Vacuum pumps in casting machines tend to leak a little oil–this is
considered normal for most machines. If oil leakage is excessive or
if you have any other problems with the machine we provide complete
service here. http:/www.equipmentdr.com Thank you. John Cranor
