Retail arts/crafts show listings

Hi Folks,

I’ve looked in the Orchid archives and on several Web sites, but
can’t find what I’m looking for. Does anyone know where I can find a
listing or listings of local and/or regional arts and crafts shows,
preferably in the southeastern U.S.? Does anyone their own list they’d
be willing to share? I’m not quite up to the ACC/Smithsonian/Philly
show speed yet… need to walk before I run.

Thanks in advance,

Dave

David,

Check the Sunshine Artist magazine. The website is
www.sunshineartist.com. I recently purchased their book for about
$50.00 but you should have the magazine too. It is a freat
publication and it gave me lots of info.

Best wishes,

Dear Dave,

The Art Fair Sourcebook contains a listing (including ratings and
lots of details) of the top shows throughout the US. It’s costly but
worth it. A quick search through my disorganized files has not turned
up the contact info, so hopefully someone else out there has it. If
not, email me off-list and I’ll track it down for you.

Also, you will find some listings (but no ratings or details) in The
Crafts Report magazine. You can search by state on their show search
page at http://216.155.1.3:591/showfinder/index.html

Good luck! Beth

Hi Dave,

try these, maybe you can find some info here

Lapidary Journal - Jewelry Making, Jewelry Arts, Gems, Beads, B&B, Minerals and More LJ’s show calendar

since I quit doing shows last year, this is a relatively old bookmark
list but the sites still are there. You can also search on the net
for “festivals” which is how I found many of these originally. Then,
there is the Artsource, but I can’t find a site for them so they may
not be on the net.

Have fun choosing!
