The powder dyes are opaque what household/art products can be used
to get a good transparent dye in Resin. I am using two part casting
resin from UK.

casting resin from UK.

Try model painters enamels and acrylics. I know one fellow who
mixes it into epoxy resin for stage jewelry, and the results are
very good and quite durable. It does shorten your working time. A
very small amount goes a long way, especially in transparent colors.

Alec Tiranti has both opaque and transparent resin dyes; if you
can’t get to the shops in London and Reading then there is mail order
and a website at:

He also stocks agate burnishers; useful for Keum Boo if you ever
get interested in that as well…
