Dear readers, Daniel Spirer asked me to include a request for stories
detailing the better treatment of jewellers by the owners of
jewellery businesses. The contrast between the good and the bad will
undoubtedly make for interesting reading. Please, send your praise,
or your horror stories, or both, and I will make good use of them.
All of the replies will be used without names of individuals, or
particular businesses, to avoid the pitfalls of litigation. I hope
that people who reply to this will excercise as much detail and
accuracy as possible, keeping in mind the objective…to help those
who are being taken advantage of, and to make an example of the
owners who are an asset to the trade.
