I did check with my mentor. We decided it’s best to change them as the rubber material degrades over time, plus my torch, though well protected from the elements, is kept outdoors on my patio where my soldering table is maintained (I live in a condo). The changeout was simple and I have tight connections with no leaks. Admittedly the new Primo hoses feel more supple than the old.
