Reparing link on bracelet with large gems

Hi All, I’m new to the list and a humble beginner. I’ve made this
large cabochon-set link bracelet (my first one) . Each cabochon
setting has half jump rings soldered to the base. More jump rings
are used to connect the cabs together. My problem is that one of
the half rings soldered on one of the stone settings came apart (bad
soldering). Can I fix it without removing the stone for the
setting? These are large moss-agate stones 30/18mm ovals… Thanks, Irina

Irina Can the stone be placed completely under water to protect it
and still have the solder joint 5 or so millimeters out of the water?
If so go to my web site describing this procedure.
Yahoo | Mail, Weather, Search, Politics, News, Finance, Sports & Videos If the stone is too
close to the solder joint then you may consider finding someone who
will laser weld it for you. Removing a bezel set stone without
scratching or scuffing it is hard enough and re-bezeling the stone
back into the same beat up bezel might not be worth it. Michael R.
