Ceramic stores handle many items that can be used to repair burn out
ovens and electric melt furnaces. They have wire crimps that are
designed for high temperature, ceramic plugs, and heating coils that
will work in most burn out ovens. Their kilns are designed for a
much higher temperature than we see in our burn out ovens.
They also sell many tools that might interest wax carvers. Give them
a try next time you have to repair a burn out oven or electric melt
furnace.
