Hi all, I remove a tight ring by tightly, and closely, winding thick
string around the finger, from the ring towards the finger tip. Then
the string is slowly unwound from the ring towards the finger tip,
whilst moving the ring along the compressed finger.
Incidently, during a recent hand operation under local, the
anesthetist used a similar method wherein a ribbon of rubber was
wound up from my hand to move the blood upwards out of the arm.
