Refiners for gold filled scrap

Thanks to all that responded with suggestions of silver refiners.
I’ve checked their sites but no one mentions gold filled. Anyone have
any thoughts on where, how, or if it is even possible (or worth)
getting gold filled refined?

Thanks again!
Mary

Company I use requires 5 pounds of gold filled scrap to process.

Rio Grande accepts it, and yes it is worth it.

Rio has refined G/F for me. Check their website for scrap returns:

They also have an excellent downloadable packing list: [PDF File]

Hi Mary,

I suspect all of them will take gold fill, however I do know for
sure that G&S Metals will take it for sure.

Hi there, I,too, just sent in a batch of scrap silver-contaminated,
gold-filled, unknown white dental metal( turned out to be palladium
alloy), platinum scraps & dust etc. I sent it out to Hauser & Miller
http://www.ganoksin.com/gnkurl/hauserandmiller

and was quite pleased with the results & excellent service…I didn’t
ask for money- I asked for credit & purchased new silver casting
shot. The turn around was about a business week (-: All the local
refiners weren’t interested in the under 5 oz. amount on the dental
& gold-filled. In fact, a local guy bought my gold scraps & it took
over 2 weeks to even get a phone call, dinged me on an assay fee,
and then at week #3 - a check by mail )-: minus postage, too. Hauser
& Miller have my business now & recommendation to all jewelers.
