Propane casting torch anyone?

I’m alloying fine silver with copper in the crucible and using
one of those cheapo torches that you can also use for gas and
forced air and spending too much time trying to melt the metal. I
wonder if anyone can recommend a good propane/oxy casting torch ,
maybe with multiple orifices, and maybe someone has a used one
for sale? Thanks again…Dave

Dave,

Bought an old Ace/oxy converted it to propane… BUT THE ANSWER to your
question IS THE - - - ‘BUD HEAD’. A multi-orifice round head from your local
welding supply, does the job even with propane… do 9 oz silver at one
time… Not much for the big guns but fine for us little dudes/dudettes!
