Pripps Flux Instructions part deux

I forgot to add that Pripps is for keeping out oxygen and you
will need to use your regular flux on your solder joints. Also,
the piece can be quenched in water and the glassy coating will
remain allowing another soldering operation, though I usually
spray some more Pripps on before soldering again. If you only
have 3 or 4 soldering operations on sterling the Pripps will help
greatly. If theres alot of soldering operations it will keep
firescale down but wont prevent it completely. Better than
nothing, or you can not use it at all and use your jewelry brass
brush for a nice fine silver satin look. Dave
