[Pricing] Jewelry Slides

#1

Hello All!!! I am thinking about offering my services to take
slides of jewelry for people needing slides to get into shows…
and I’m wondering WHAT a good “Rate” is… I have been doing
this as a “favor” but feel I can do it as a FEE now, I’m just
not sure how much… Thanks in advance…Mary

mary - the photographer who does my slides is nationally known in
the field & does the monthly photography column for the top
[fine] crafts industry publication. his fee averages about $6.25
a slide based on a 5 item/piece format. there’s a small extra
fee hardcopies for those wishing to load those shots onto a

Hi Mary: I just had another Orchid Member, Amy O’Connell, take
photos of my work. Her work is stupendous and you could go to
her web site, ( Amy O’Connell Jewelry http://www.ezmo.com/amy
amy@ezmo.com ) check out her work (both the designs and the photo
quality) and contact her about her pricing. I will say ahead of
time, , I am pretty sure she has an undergraduate in Photography
and her work reflects her training - she is painstaking about her
process and I am very happy about what she did with my pieces.
She is also a very nice person and seems to very much enjoy
sharing Found a source for my little tubing bender
set through her. Good luck and happy shooting. Shael dakotah

Dear Friends, for my time and money I highly recommend Azad,
photographer of fine art, especially jewelry. He will be at the
Tucson Show, Days Inn (tel: 791-7511), Room 227 (check to make
sure, but Days Inn for sure). Check out his site
http://www.azadphoto.com/ . He’s a real pro, a good guy and
reasonable. Bill Navran
