Hi,

it’s been a while since I’ve been a member of cmag - can anyone tell
me if you still have a pool account/metals discount with Hoover and
Strong?

If you’re in Oregon, you probably mean California something…
Chicago Metal Arts Guild (CMAG) has such a discount. We don’t limit
our members by location! (And I edit our newsletter, and write a
technical column for each quarterly issue).

Oregon is still big enough to have their very own metals guild. :sunglasses:
CMAG is a Portland group. And a nicer group of metal workers I have
not met. They have a great show each year & their meetings are always
full of

I am no longer a member because I moved away. But last I was there
they had their account with Hoover & Strong.

Portland CMAG is alive and well. The group has existed for what, oh
30 years or so. We have several members here on Orchid. And yes, we
still maintain a relationship with Hoover and Strong.
